Memo for working on a dog-show (CAC, CACIB, special)
I. CAC, CACIB
Smooth-haired RT and long-haired RT should be assessed separately in any sequence:
- smooth-haired and then long-haired (more preferred)
or
- long-haired and then smooth-haired.
In every tipes of coat a judge chooses:
- smooth-haired
1. Best Baby, Best Puppy, Best Junior, Best Male, Best Female, Best Veteran - according to the exhibition rules
2. Best of Breed - select between Best Male, Best Female, Best Junior-male, Best Junior-female, Best Veteran-male, Best Veteran-female.
3. Best of Opposite Sex - select after choosing Best of Breed between dogs of opposite sex.

1. Best Baby, Best Puppy, Best Junior, Best Male, Best Female, Best Veteran - according to the exhibition rules
2. Best of Breed - select between Best Male, Best Female, Best Junior-male, Best Junior-female, Best Veteran-male, Best Veteran-female.
3. Best of Opposite Sex - select after choosing Best of Breed between dogs of opposite sex.
There are no comparison between smooth-haired and long-haired dogs on shows CAC, CACIB.
Every type of coat has got it's own CAC. There are four CAC for adult dogs:
- Best Male smoth-haired,
- Best Female smoth-haired,
- Best Male long-haired,
- Best Female long-haired.
And four Junior-CAC for Juniors:
- Best Junior-male smoth-haired,
- Best Junior-female smoth-haired,
- Best Junior-male long-haired,
- Best Junior-female long-haired.
Every type of coat has got it's own CACIB. There are four CACIB for adult dogs:
- best male smoth-haired,
- best female smoth-haired,
- best male long-haired,
- best female long-haired.
And four Junior-CACIB for Juniors:
- Best Junior-male smoth-haired,
- Best Junior-female smoth-haired,
- Best Junior-male long-haired,
- Best Junior-female long-haired.
II. special shows

3. Best Junior of Show – select between Best Junior smooth-haired and Best Junior long-haired;
4. Best Veteran of Show – select between Best Veteran smooth-haired and Best Veteran long-haired;
5. Best Toy of Show – select between Best of Breed smooth-haired, Best of Breed long-haired, Best Junior of Show, Best Veteran of Show.
All titles should be included in diplomas, catalog and documents of ring.
